“Nakitaku naru you na moonlight”

Listen to Sailor Moon's Classic Theme on Traditional Japanese Instruments.
Nami Kineie is considered a master of the three-stringed shamisen and lent her amazing abilities to cover "Moonlight Densetsu" earlier this year, creating a truly unique cover. The cover also includes Makoto Takei on the shakuhachi (bamboo flute), Eriko Kumazawa on the 20-stringed koto, Masako Watanabe on the 17-string koto, and Jun Rokei on percussion. Figured it out: the first link is the blocked one, but the "Traditional Instruments" one works fine.

Kineie Nami also has released a whole album of Vocaloid covers, like Senbonzakura (long | short version | original Miku Hatsune). The vocalist for Senbonzakura is Kyounosuke Yoshitate, who did also an awesome cover of Frozen's Let it Go with Kineie Nami's shamisen and other traditional instruments.

It is a link to the original theme song. Apologies for the non-working link.
