The rap label for people who say they don't like rap*. How can you not groove on ALL CAPS? Madlib is magical, in different ways from the magic of Dilla. So much good music!

* By which I mean, this is the home of musicians who make hip-hop that you can play for people who say "I don't like hip-hop" and possibly change their minds.

One of the things I really like about Stones Throw is that it's such a big tent--there's room for cold minimal pop, and spacy synth-funk, and instrumental hip-hop, and retro-sounding soul, and, then, also Guilty Simpson.
