A Conservative High School Production Of Angels In America Where They Can’t Say Aids So All The Characters Have Diabetes Instead

There's no way this was a properly licensed production, right?

Apparently SNL just rips their sketches straight from twitter now.

A website for five people? Big deal; when I had my own blog, I never got more than three readers.

Oh the best one on the first page isn't even in your pullquotes!

If nothing else this website has given the world something that it has long needed: the phrase "bottom-friendly dad rock."

one of these links is actually a portal to Hell, but you won't know which one until you click on it.

Your problem, Henry, is that you're hung up on words.

I recently got back into The World Only Spins Forward after having put it down for a bit, so I got a good chuckle out of this reimagined bit:

ROY: This is not sophistry. And this is not hypocrisy. This is reality. I have high blood sugar. But unlike nearly every other man of whom this is true, I bring my insulin to the White House and President Reagan smiles at me and shakes my hand. Because what I am is defined entirely by who I am. Roy Cohn is not a diabetic.

HENRY: Okay, Roy.

ROY: And what is my diagnosis, Henry?

HENRY: You have diabetes, Roy.

ROY: No, Henry, no. Diabetes is what diabetics have. I have gluten intolerance.

The 100 Most Popular Ships On Ao3, Ranked

God damn that made me feel old and out of touch. Like, forget the characters, I don't know the fictional works being referenced :-(

No love of Wouldn't It Be Nice is irrational. That song is a masterpiece on so many levels.

89. Dean Winchester & Castiel, platonically – Supernatural

88. Steve Rogers & Bucky Barnes, platonically – Captain America

87. Sherlock Holmes & John Watson, platonically – Sherlock

Make it gay, you cowards!

86. Dean Winchester & Sam Winchester, platonically – Supernatural

Props for not making it gay.

I cackled. Thank you for the link!

The Angels in America content here is cracking me up. One of the not linked posts is "Is your teen kin with Roy Cohn?" which creates a universe where teens are all pretending to be Roy Cohn from Angels in America.
Does your teen seem kind of gay? Not gay in the usual way, but gay in the terrifying evil old McCarthyite lawyer way? Has your teen started speaking in something like a 1950s Jewish New York accent but with the impeccable vocal flourish of Al Pacino or Nathan Lane? Is your child as hellbent on eradicating the Communist menace from American culture as they are on filling the void in their own rotten-black heart with meaningless earthly acquisitions of power? If you answered yes to two or more of these questions, then your son or daughter may have gotten into the burgeoning internet phenomenon of Roy Cohn Kinning.

Kind of sad that Bashir/Garak wasn't one of the ships.

Also, relevant to a recent post on the blue.

I Love Elizabeth Holmes, Scam Queen is a great read into how she proved that women can be just as crazily greedy and as good at grifting as men. And that maybe her downfall while the likes of Zuckerberg are still reigning is a sign of sexism at work.

Also there's a movie coming out about it!
