You Sing Into Your Mic To Solve Puzzles In This Indie Game [Kotaku] “One Hand Clapping is a experimental project from the University of Southern California’s games program. It mixes music and puzzles—the player needs to hum or sing to create walkways and raise platforms to proceed through a colorful world. It’s short but memorable.” [Northernlion Let's Play] [Trailer] [itch.io]

I'm not sure I could do this. I'm sooo terrible at singing. But it's great fun watching others stumble their way through this with their voice/singing. I'm laughing so much. Just do a YouTube search for 'One Hand Clapping' and you'll find quite a few.

Wow, this is brilliant. Also, I really cannot sing.

This looks something that could be an early Nintendo DS title when developers were trying to do something with the microphone.

I tried installing this on my Mac but it doesn't do anything.

I was able to install it on my Mac but I had to open it from Finder. The Mac doesn't recognize the source and won't open it otherwise.

I also was opening it from Finder, but it would appear to open and then do nothing. Eventually, if I just let it alone, it opened after about 5 minutes.

I'm in Finder, and the zip file just keeps making more copies of itself.

It's like it knows how hard I'll own this game and refuses to let me start.

I wonder if it will work with whistling? I have a bird that loves when I whistle, so I'm pretty good at it! I'm totally going to try this game

This was a lot of fun but it seemed really short once I got a few issues figured out. This could be applied sooo fantastically for sight-singing training. Instead of bars or gems floating in the air, sheet music.

I wonder if there are more games like this ...

I think the room I'm in is too noisy, it keeps thinking I'm making noise when I'm not, and when I do make noise it doesn't seem to do anything

It helped me to adjust the microphone sensitivity and at times to turn off the game sound
