Hmm, I saw a longer video somewhere of the first dog where it was given the camera! A good boy would never steal a camera!

Some of these are most likely staged. I could not give less of a damn however because every last one is goddamn adorable!

Those are all definitely staged with doggos given doggo friendly holders. I think it's fascinating to see how their eyes move during the whole process. It shows that humans have an advantage with mobile eye movement over our best buds.

But have you considered: the ears.

Aw I wanna boop the snoots!

I want a 360-degree video camera. And a dog.

Do you know what a GoPro on a selfie stick looks like to a dog? Here's a hint: the important word there is 'stick'. The rest of it is just a boring knot on the wood that is hard and awkward to hold.

Aw I wanna boop the snoots!

Close-ups of long doggo snoots make me very happy, especially when there's a pair of sneaky peepers right above them.

Some of these are most likely staged.

Definitely, because the first thought I had after seeing just one of these, was: "finally, I have a reason to buy a GoPro, my Daniff would be hilarious with his crazy eyes and ears flopping around"

My husband and I found our GoPro in my bed with bitemarks all over the case. Reviewing footage, our dog Taco had grabbed it, somehow turned it on, and recorded himself playing with it. It's not nearly as cute as the dogs who grab and run, but it never fails to crack me up. A few stretches of darkness (camera part down), lots of dog mouth interior shots.

Aww, Taco's tiny growls while he's playing! He sounds like a person pretending to growl like a dog.

These videos are all much funnier if you have memories of Sir Digby Chicken Caesar and imagine "Devil's Galop" being played as the doggos are running.

I loveeee ittt. And I wonder, if pretensions re: stagedness are totally thrown out the window, whether this could have any like productive real-world uses -- like, I don't know, a tiny camera that is for some reason attractive to deep-sea creatures?? A jellyfish scurrying away with a micro GoPro in their tentacles... <3

These videos make me wish my friends and I had followed through on an old related idea. Putting a forward facing camera on the dog's back. Probably a drone fpv cam and a gopro or a runcam split (both in one) so we could watch in real time. I guess we didn't consider the viral video angle or we probably would have followed through.

I think we just got bogged down on an argument about camera placement (top of head?), batteries, adding speakers, training the dog to obey directional commands and if that would be useful for anything. And probably watching those videos of eagles with gopros.
