"They had their hearts ripped out of them…"
"This loss really hurts big…"
"It was a great game, but we shot ourselves in the foot…"
"I would say it was very brutal…"

"Rahman, meanwhile, was dazed and confused for several minutes after the fight, while he got medical attention on his stool."

I bet his head hurt, too.

"I have a cut in the middle of my forehead, and an extra head on my head,'' Rahman said.

Now THAT'S funny.

"We did hit heads there, but I'm hitting him with shots anyway and I hit him right on it,'' Holyfield said.

I flinched when I read that about the same as I would've if I'd actually seen it. ARGH. But I have a question about that: the first article says he head-butted unintentionally, which I sorta doubt but can accept, but then to admit and be proud of HITTING HIM RIGHT ON IT? That doesn't seem fair somehow. It seems just as much "playing dirty" as hitting below the belt is, which I know is not allowed in boxing (even if I know nearly no other boxing rules). What do you guys think about that?

I watched the fight and don't think that it was intentional. It looked like Holyfield tried to slip left to get out of the tie-up and didn't realize how much weight Rahman was putting on him and leaning over. On the other hand, Holyfield isn't exactly the cleanest fighter.

In a close-quarters fight this kinda thing happens. It's inescapable. Rahman was kind of asking for it too. He had a 4 inch reach advanatge but kept on trying to lockup and stay close the entire fight.

It was pretty gross watching Holyfield going after it. He got in a nice, clean right jab right on it right at the bell. That made my head hurt.

This fight was like watching paint dry compared to Mickey Ward v. Arturo Gatti two weeks ago.

Man, that bump was frighteningly e-NOR-mous- as is the list of joke that can be made about it (mad props to Cyrano and swift for their comments already). My own addition would be that Rahman was just auditioning for the new film, How To Get Ahead in Boxing.

The description? The description?

But seriously, if Holyfield tried that against Tyson, would Tyson bite him in the forehead?

As for Sacto...um, who cares?

Lewis by TKO in Round 4. Assuming Tyson doesn't try to gnaw his face off or something.
