Put Words Between Buns

Ian Bogost appealed to the world to put more words between buns. So he made a thing where you just type and the words appear (recognises return, backspace). Lots of people then put words between buns (also on Facebook).

I was thinking there should be either a chuck tingle or a seymour butts connection there somehow.

I just wanna know how he made this, since I'm trying to find examples of cute code projects - I'm having a hard time looking at the Developer Tools and understanding what he did, besides using JQuery.

It looks like most of the relevant parts are in `bun.js`, Yueliang.

Looks like most of it is a combination of `renderBun()`, `renderImage()`, and that hatchShow jQuery function to loop over the inner-blocks to decide when to wrap & when to resize the font-size

Ian Bogost continually impresses me. If someone had told me I could get tenure mostly through creative and interesting shitposting I would have finished my PhD.

Mac Firefox users beware, hitting the "delete" key goes back a page. Option+delete works fine.

I literally just finished sending out a proof for a job where I essentially made a burger with the text for Backstage Passes. I'm glad to see this now, I wasn't going for burger when I made it, but it worked out that way and if I rounded the corners some more, I could go full burgin' on the design.
