Do you want to see some bonkers fashion? Laurence & Chico are not known for restraint in their design style. If you're in Vancouver, and want to feel like you're wearing one of their dresses without actually wearing one of their dresses, you can also visit their cafe.

I'm in Seattle, but OMFG, if anyone wants to do a Meetup at that cafe, I am READY.

I am already planning to take my five year old niece there when I visit at the end of the month. Because, come on, what five year old wouldn't love that? I'm forty and I love that.

I am going to have to check out that cafe the next time I visit my parents--they live a short walk away. Maybe I'll take them and my niece and nephew! Thanks for the inspiration, jacquilynne!

I prefer their interior decorating to their clothes. Rubber duck bathroom! Dr. Seuss chairs!

OMG I just moved away from that neighbourhood last month - I literally lived one block over and this place opened not long before I moved and I remember passing by several times, each time thinking "WTF is UP with the decor in there?". Sadly I was always on my way to something or other so never got a chance to actually go in.

The bathrooms were incredible.
The food was okay. A bit expensive.

Ha, okay, I couldn't figure out what your Here! comment meant. Now I understand. Awesome that you went there!

I figured it would be pretty overpriced, but baked goods are more expensive to produce than people realize (my sister-in-law owned a bakery in Vancouver until last year) and it's really about the experience more than anything.
