People often say to me they’d love to own a zoo

I struggle with the disconnect from reality that leads from "I love animals" (I get that bit) and "I know! Let's keep animals in enclosures and be 100% responsible for their welfare and ooh! I will also be buying and running a business that I no experience in."

By all means, leave your job in the city and open a B&B in rural France - but please don't buy or start a business that, if it fails, will result in the death or mistreatment of a not inconsiderable number of animals...
