Linux Devs threaten Kill switch on Linux

Some members being affected by new CoC threaten kill switch. Apparently under old GPL2 license where many Devs created work for Linux project had no provision for Devs to not withdraw their work at a future date from a project. At least Eric S. Raymond thinks the threat has "teeth".

CoC doesn't appear to be defined in the links or the post. What is CoC?

CoC = Code of Conduct, discussed recently. Not sure if this is a double, or a big enough bombshell for its own thread.

If we're going to talk about this latest development here, I'm going to reiterate that Eric Raymond is an awful person who has for years been claiming that high-level OSS developers like Linus Torvalds are at risk of being "targeted" by women at conventions who aim to have sex with them and then falsely accuse them of rape. Because women are of course evil and want to destroy the careers of and lives of good men with false rape accusations because REASONS.

Please do not give Eric Raymond legitimacy. Dude should be shunned from all public life, and his life's work thrown down the memory hole.
