This sounds really cool. If you're not in NYC it looks like the only way to watch it is to buy the DVD for $40 - bummer.

Chris Marker is such a genius. Sans Soleil is a movie I often recommend to people; it's so intensely strange and thoughtful and dryly funny. Excited to check this out, if I can ever manage to.

I've always wanted to watch Marker’s The Owl’s Legacy so it is nice that Icarus is releasing it. It may not be the latest and greatest format but at least it is getting a release.

Linking to it would probably hasten it getting taken down, but it is on youtube at the moment with English subs.
