"Her male colleagues at Riot used the word “dick” over 500 times"

With the exposure of sexism and sexual harassment at Riot Games (previously) having resulted in corporate gladhanding and not much else, a former and a current employee have sued Riot for gender discrimination and sexual harassment. (SLKotaku)

The suit adds additional details that had not been disclosed before, such as the aforementioned "dick" counting, and this quote from a Riot manager:
[D]iversity should not be a focal point of the design of Riot Games’ products because gaming culture is the last remaining safe haven for white teen boys.

What a damning thing to say about white teen boys - that the presence of different people and perspectives makes them feel unsafe. And yet, this guy sees this as a defense the status quo?

Obviously, protecting them from diversity hasn't worked, if it still makes them so afraid and angry. Maybe we should try something different, like ...

Hmmmmm, is there anyone else being left out in the cold by this approach? Anyone?

Even if it was true that the only audience for their games were fragile white boys, it doesn’t follow that the company management has to behave like them. I mean, Disney makes films aimed at children, but I bet most of their management drives to work.....

Like literally everyone. As I alluded to in my very next statement?

But this is the company that makes League of Legends. It's not a game going for middle-age adults regardless of race. And the dismissal of women is sadly predictable.

But my beef is that if you look at photos of competitive LoL players the statement "white teen boys" is only mostly correct on two out of three elements. Its has a huge, HUGE Asian fan base. It's not just racist (and sexist) it's in stark denial of the reality of who their actual audience is.

The sexism is terrible but predictable. But to be a MOBA developer and think your audience is white kids? Holy shit, what planet are you on?

Of course, Riot Games' HQ is located at the bastion for white teen boyhood known as West Los Angeles.

And since I'm already on their website, that statement also is a huge middle finger to their own Diversity & Inclusion section, which has the following quote right on the top:

"Leveraging what makes us different to unite on our passion for games."

Lol. I think they only added that section once they figured out that the Kotaku article that kicked this whole thing off was imminent. For example, here's a snapshot of the parent page from May 22 that doesn't have a D&I section listed at all. It seems that section was added by the next snapshot on May 29.
