Another company mentioned in the catalogs is The Unexcelled Fireworks Company of New York. Here's some examples of pages from their catalogs as well: 1, 2.

The first example includes an advertisement for Japanese "daylight fireworks."

This feels like unboxing and sorting the cards for a very elegant tabletop game you backed on Kickatarter.

Thanks, this is the kind of thing that the internet was supposed to do by design. Cataloging collections & making the publicly accessible is the lord’s work.

These are beautiful.

Although I did have a little OCD twitch when I realized the illustrations for No. 13 and No. 15 had 14 bursts.

These are awesome. I want to get about ten of these illustrations as prints and hang them on my walls.

Cool! The illustrations look like something out of a Ken Levine game.

Ok, who's going to be the first recording artist to use one of these as an album cover?
