In the mood for some archaology tourism?

Nostalgia! This is one of the first websites I linked to from my ancient blog about 15 years ago. It looks more sophisticated and comprehensive than it did then, but still has that old school internet feel. At the time I don’t think it had the particular standing stone in Wales I was looking for, but now it has so many sites in the area I have no idea which one it might be.

My family visited Carnac when I was 10. After studying the standing stones for some time, I announced to my parents that I had solved the mystery of why the people who had raised them did so: to confuse future generations! My parents were suitably impressed.
