I'd like to work up to doing this someday, but I'll need training to not tear up at every sad story. I'd be the John Boehner of Santas otherwise.

My daughter informed me that Santa visited her classroom the other day, which was thrilling, despite the fact that he was in her words a "Fake Santa". So clearly he didn't attend the proper finishing school.

My friggin four-year-old told me the same thing. Although evidently it was because she could see the elastic holding his beard on. Totally fair. Fake beard, fake Santa.
