These are lovely, but far too many of them lack any indication of where they were taken. Which is sort of the reason for travel photography, maybe?

I agree. However, that's only true of the first link, which is a sampling of the total. If you go to the tpoty website, each photo has an "i" info button which gives the country it was taken in, but only the country. Occasionally, in the commentary on the photographer, there will be an allusion to the actual place. The big problem with the tpoty site is that it takes forever to load, as it has all the years available, so it's a massive site. I probably should have put all this in the description; sorry.
