I know this is a cute story and all, but if you have a duck, it is really, REALLY important not to let it get ripped apart by dogs. We've all played Duck Hunt, and think ducks and dogs are a natural combination, but it is VERY bad for most ducks to be consumed or even bitten by dogs. Please don't let these "feel good" stories keep you from putting your ducks in safe places, out of the reach of dogs.

An even sadder article about a cute animal, if that's what you're in the mood for (if you click, don't say I didn't warn you).
