Shapely AI

Japanese developer rarapima has a couple of nifty demos. The first transforms the line you draw into a 3-D wireframe. The second is more interesting, and shows how scarily accurate AI has become: draw something and the page’s AI will try to correct it for you based on what it predicts you drew. If it’s wrong, shake the screen. [Maybe NSFW]

An amazing glimpse of the future!

Um. Is it supposed to just repeat the first thing I drew?
EDIT: The shaking is the best part. I guess that’s predictive genius.

Of course everyone who joined the pen fifteen club as a middle schooler gets access to the actual functionality of the site. [secret salute]

Went to show my wife. She actually draws the very thing in question and ruins the fun. She's a keeper.

I started to draw a smiley face, and the AI instantly deformed it into a dick. I think it's been overfitted.

So it's turning absolutely everything I draw into dicks. No exception. This is why the internet shouldn't train robots. Also why democracy is over, I think.

I first drew smiley face and it turned the two eyes into little dicks and the head into a big dick in such a way that it looked like a creature with a big Gonzo nose and two squinty dick eyes. It was glorious.

This was glorious and I am wheezing laughing. We have a pretty casual dick-joke-friendly work team and I am desperately trying to fine a way for it to be ok to prank them with this even tho I am team lead.

This is kind of (rightly) getting lost in the second link, but try drawing a cube with a single line in the first link - it broke my brain a little.

The next-level wibbly wobbly magic appears to require grabbing the window by the tab rather than the window border before applying the appropriate hand motions.

to be fair, the first like was nicely legit. So yeah...Mr. Wallflower knows how to tell a joke.

Alirght. So the last thing I drew on the first one... I was like ok.... lets just see - OH... It renders it as a cylindrical frisbee with two things protruding from the middle.

Then I went on to the second one, and thought - oh... it must cookie my computer because that wasn't a long enough write to derive that line...

Ah you guys it was awesome. The two coworkers I sent it to in the same room were in stitches, and we can't wait to show another one tomorrow. Gold gold gold. Off to hit up everyone I know.

I was really confused, because the first thing I drew was a penis.

Also made the mistake of drawing a dong first, now everything I draw gets auto transformed into one. Screen shaking doesnt work in my chrome for some reason.

edit: Ok so I fell for it long after the joke had been exposed.
