My son got a melodica for Christmas and plays it frequently, and also is teaching himself to play the piano -- often simultaneously. We hear the "Mario" them a lot, both from YouTube and also the living room.

This is a good post. Also, I love the "Underwater Theme" for Super Mario Bros. It always brings a smile to my face. I mean I hate that level but I love that theme.

And I'm not sure why I never picked up on the fact that the "Underwater Theme" has a very "Polka" feel to it. This is not a complaint, just something I never noticed until this version of the theme was heard.

I had one of these as a kid and would blow on it and make lots of annoying noises. I'm sure my parents loved it.
