This is fantastic and bringing back so many memories from when I visited Japan a few years ago. Great post

One of my favorite things to do when I visit a city for the first time is to set out early in the morning and walk around it for the entire day. So Rambalac is somebody I can relate to very much.

Dozens of marching Pikachu; Even more marching Pikachu. You'll have to skip around to find the Pikachu action.

I'm mostly in awe at the ability of walking alone at night while using an expensive camera.

I’ve been watching these for a year now, and I didn’t even think to post them! They’re so good and calming and interesting. Hats off to you, zabuni!

If you like these check out NHK's Somewhere Street which has lots of episodes on YouTube. It's a similar concept, but a little more edited with some prearranged interactions along the way.

I have a playlist named "Perambulation Nippon" that's mostly Rambalac with a smattering of Nippon Wandering TV thrown in. (NWTV has a bit of a different aesthetic but is also good.) My introduction to Rambalac was the fast walk from from Shinjuku to Shibuya and I've been hooked ever since.
Memo: “I'm mostly in awe at the ability of walking alone at night while using an expensive camera.”
One of the first ones I watched was Rainy walk in evening Shibamata, and he's walking down these dark alleys and I hear footsteps fast approaching and it made my heart skip a beat. But it was an older woman hurrying home with groceries. He turns down these streets that my spidey-sense marks as "no way" but it's fine. It's always like that. It's just a guy walking home from work or a woman with an armful of bags or a dude in a gimmie cap on a bicycle. Other people walk by and they're just going where ever they're going and are similarly unconcerned. It's remarkable really.

I love to put these on as background, although it's sometimes easy to get sucked in and the next thing you know you've watched an hour of a guy walking to a closed shrine and back in the rain. Other favorites are the Nebuta festival in Nakanobu, Tokyo, the Shimokitazawa Awa Odori, the Nezu shrine festival, walking at the Kawagoe festival, the Omotesando-Harajuku Halloween parade from 2018, and Walking at Narita 2018 Taiko drum festival.

I love this channel! When I'm not virtually walking around with Rambalac I like riding the trains in 4k with nagomi view.

Where did all the bunnies go? When I was there it was like a zombie movie, except with bunnies (huge hordes of bunnies would come up to you demanding food). Maybe weather, or the bunnies were all travelling for Golden Week or something.
