Lizzo Isn’t Just Part of a Movement. She’s a Movement All Her Own. Cover Star at Allure, and embarking on a North American and European tour. Lizzo previously on Metafilter.
A colleague parked behind me today and was blasting "Truth Hurts". We ended up walking the block to the office while both singing "I got boy problems, that's the human in me. Bling! Bling! I solve 'em, that's the goddess in me!" It's a good way to start a Friday work day in a male-dominated industry.

My significant other said I sounded like a teenager because I said, "I'm so excited. Lizzo's new album drops on April 19th!"
She is amazing, and Good as Hell was my 2018 anthem. Looking forward to see what 2019 brings.

I learned of her via Brad Neely's Harg Nallin' Sclopio Peepio — her mini-songs were one of the main reasons I kept watching.

Just to brag, I loved Lizzo before it was cool - back when she was in GRRL PRTY and there were like 40 people at a show. She was a superstar then too.

Saw Lizzo open for St Vincent who opened for Florence + The Machine. It was a pretty mind blowing night. One hell of a damned good time.

Lizzo is a goddamn icon. I truly believe that she's on the verge of blowing up, so get your tickets while you can.
