The next dominant species of planet earth. Prepare yourselves, humans: your days are numbered (I for one hail our new spider-goat overlords.)
Am I the only one with an image of goats on a futuristic battlefield? Standing up on two legs while spider web shoots out their udders. "Feel the wrath of the goats!"

The goats don't yet realize that they have super-powered milk. Nobody tell them.

Mrs Parker : "Boy, what are you doing in there?"
Peter : "Just kidding, mom!"
On preview : that doesn't make a whole lot of sense, does it?

As if goats weren't already agile climbers. Now they'll be chewing the ivy off walls, nibbling the moss under the eaves, and staring in your upper windows with yellow demon eyes.
So, suppose these buggers are safe for release into the wild. What about smuggling some breeding pairs to poor countries where people depend on traditional herding? Granny could knit bullet-proof vests in traditional patterns.
