Well, unless I'm doing something wrong, the URLs it generates just link back to itself.

Has anyone gotten it to work on Firefox? It does nothing for me.

Yeah, funny idea, but it seems to be broken.

...yes, it seems like it will generate a link but following the link doesn't appear to do anything.

Anyway, my link should have gone to here.

They really didn't put much effort into that alphabetic domain name, but it probably doesn't matter. From personal experience I can say that Apple wouldn't let me add my own maximum length (but RFC compliant) email address at my absurdly long domain to iMessage. The system tried, but it failed. (I mostly use that domain to test my own stuff, not third party stuff, but it's worth the minimal cost of domain renewal to keep it going).

So it creates a URL in Rausle? Neat.

Also, this.

Oh, I'm getting flashbacks to hugeurl.com. Has it really been 15 years since URL shortening was all the rage?

It's with great sadness that I must report that http://www.www.extra-www.org/ has been down for a few years. This would have been a nice touch imo, but alas! (here it is on wayback btw). https://www.yes-www.org/ is still going strong, but I feel that they don't go far enough, and http://www.www.aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.com has a nicer ring to it.

I generated a link using Firefox on Mac, and it seemed to work fine:
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.com/#aAaaAaAAaaAaAaaAAaAAAAaaaAAaAAaaaAaAaaaa.
(You can trust me, no really, it's fine...)

Works for me, chrome on a PC. Put in a random NYTimes article link and it generated an aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.com/#AaA etc. link that went to the same article.

I got all excited when I discovered yesterday that .ooo domains are current $1.50 but didn't bother when I discovered that was for the first year only and renewals are likely to be $25-ish/year. So no whoooooo.ooo/#OO0oo0O00ooOo0OO0Oo00oOoo0O0OoOO0o0ooooOooooO0o0oo0O for you.
