Pettson and Findus

When Findus was Little and Disappeared - one of the animated shorts based on Sven Nordqvist's series of storybooks about an old man and his cat and their life in the country. The animated series was a joint German and Swedish production, and later appeared in many other languages.

(If I haven't included your favorite language, odds are pretty good that it's out there, whether in books or animation.)

I’m am now considering how my younger cat would look in striped overalls. Thanks, Wolfdog.

The older cat is too grave for such nonsense.

Wow! I'm a long term fan of Pancake Pie, and when I had kids, I tried to get the copy from my mother because they're $75+ online AND SHE WON'T GIVE IT TO ME so I'm going to watch this with them instead.

Wow, this is amazing!!! We have collected almost all of the Pettson and Findus books, we're only missing one. We read them all at least once a week. My favorite is Pancake Pie because I checked it out from the library about a hundred times when I was a kid, until my mom found a copy of it somewhere.

If you like Nordqvist's art, you should check out Where is My Sister because it is four times as surreal. I love it so much.
