Aaron Gordon, transit journalist and author of the MTA-focused newsletter Signal Problems, has ended his newsletter to take a job at Jalopnik. All of the Signal Problems archive is now available

It's possible you were joking, but Jalopnik does regularly publish articles on the MTA and train transit in general.

I hope bringing Gordon on is a sign they're looking to expand such coverage.

Great. An automobile publication delivers a tremendous paycheck to public transit critic. I really look forward to him being far more critical of the maintenance schedule of the line nearest his place while being flown out to Telluride, CO so he can write about what he thinks of the new Kia Telluride: "Better'n the subway, ami rite?"

Have you guys actually read any of his Jalopnik articles? He has not exactly transformed into an industry shill since taking this job.
