In Thailand, there's a corgi cafe. That is all.

Rover Robots passed away yesterday. This cheered me up. A lot.

the part where they all stampede in excitedly is the best part

i'm sorry you lost your lil friend, no robots.

Herzog was a standard wire haired dachshund. That's corgi-level cuteness.

Wait. The corgis are all named after food? I love corgis; ever since Ein of Cowboy Bebop.

These kinds of places aren't really my thing but even if they were I would be afraid to go for fear of finding out that the owners fired several of the original corgis for trying to unionize or something like that..

I love big dogs and used to have up to 10 Siberian Huskies and Golden Retrievers

In crazy hot Bangkok? I used to see people in Hong Kong with Huskies - and the air conditioning bill to keep things cold enough for them must have been crazy. Corgis are much better solution - and damn if they are not the cutest things.

brb, gotta text the bff to see if she's gone yet. I'm not a dog person, but corgis! little stubby legs! hopelessly bad at regular tasks! ridiculous ears!

trying to unionize or something like that

What do we want? Universal vet care!

When do we want it? Oh hey! Human! Treats? Scritches?!

I am completely staunchly a rescue first advocate. I've got four straight outta the shelter who knows whatzits - three chihuahuay things, one low rider thing that we rescued after my favorite corgi gizmo left us.

I sent my wife this article and her response was effectively "oh lord, when do you leave"

Smother me in lowriders!

Looks like Queen Elizabeth bait to me, a mysterious Thai billionaire is setting a trap so he can kidnap the queen and demand the Crown Jewels as ransom. Get James Bond on the case.

There is a corgi in our neighborhood who's name is Pancakes. I genuinely cannot conceive of a better name for a corgi.

I can. There is a girl online who named her corgi Sploot.

So many treats. How are they not all enormously fat?

Although the Corgi Stampede probably burns up a few calories.

Quite possibly the cutest puppies of any bread.

There is also a dog-friendly shopping mall - http://www.bangkok.com/magazine/central-festival-eastville.htm - which I wish would be emulated elsewhere
