There's only one of these that I can't make sense of and that's Family selfie. I know when I see it I'm gonna hate myself for not being able to see it earlier.

Family selfie is pretty easy - a ghost of a man wearing sunglasses and a ball cap materialized right when they were taking the picture. Once you know that you can't unsee it.

I had to go to reddit to figure out Family selfie. The guy is tall and is leaning forward, so his torso is shortened. His legs are spread far apart, one going behind his son's body and one behind his wife and daughter.

Yeah, somebody please explain that one?

Komara - I've read about it earlier today. The dad in the back is leaning/crouching forward and his legs are spread wide. (Lurgi beat me to it! how do I delete this comment? ...)

Fun! What's going on in Runner of the Skies...?

In return I offer I was enjoying my morning walk and I almost had a heart attack (which I'm sure has been shared on this subreddit)

OK, just starting on the links here, but "Shadow" made me laugh so hard. Given that I'm in a seriously blah mood, this was no easy feat. Mood crisis partially averted. Thanks, growabrain!

I swear to god every time I look at 'Family selfie' I can hear my brain cells going pop-pop-pop

A dude running across a frozen lake from a pier, but the image is flipped-turned-upside-down.

I wonder how many of these are carefully posed and constructed shots vs. lucky snaps?

Unsure of how this tiny bipedal cat-human hybrid did not end up featured in the FPP

Okay, what is up with invitapriore's tiny bipedal cat-human hybrid?

What appears to be the bipedal kitteh’s human-like legs are actually the normal kitteh’s front legs. What appears to be its little armses are actually its rear legs, splayed out a bit (possibly because it’s sitting on its floofy rump).

Though, looking at the shadow, I’m thinking there may have been some photoshopping.

Sooo, on the family selfie, I understand the explanation of the dad bending over and each leg hidden behind one of the kids ... but why do I see soil and foliage background in the right lens (our left) of the mom's eyeglasses?

my brain can figure no way family selfie is physically possible. The relative size of the buttons on dad's shirt for example.

I think that's just a close-call of how the light is refracting through the edge of the lens there, angling past her hair, not catching the edge of daughter's coat, through hubby's legs.

Lobstermitten, that poking leaves with a stick comment is amazing. In case anyone's wondering whether to click, it starts with
That long? Ha. Took me about 1/18th of a second (rounded up). But that's the result of my deeply rich visual intelligence (which, to be fair, was the lowest scoring section in my IQ test, so you can only imagine how high the remainder of my intelligence must be).

And then it goes and carries on like that, getting worse and worse.

The original title is "Sock on cat". The 'arms' are actually a sock draped over its back.

As Navelgazer says, probably just refraction, like how you can see right through my ear in this photo.
