She's in this week's New Yorker too (where there's also audio at 16:15). And this short film of Mama's Crying Long is stunning.

Very nice. Thank you! Rhiannon Giddens never disappoints. And this album has Wayfaring Stranger (part of the live performance listed).

The is great. It's clearly not in an aisle of the music store that I spend much time in. I'd never heard of either artist. Thanks!

She grew up in Greensboro, NC. I didn't, but I'm starting to call it home, and so proud when she comes around.

This is very relevant to my interests!!!

I just started taking clawhammer banjo lessons and Rhiannon Giddens is a big part of the reason why. Love, love, love her.
