There is no inviting of other late-night comedians onto your show. Any late-night comedian invites another late-night comedian onto his show spends a night in the box.

I enjoy colbert for his monologs and generally shittery on trump etc. But I've been a fan of Conan since the very early days. This was so awkwardly enjoyable. The bit works different for different people but Conan just made that bizarre eye contact and face and everything else kills me because of it.

It was funny, charming and weird, but on hi-def TV it made for some squirmy viewing. Like, you could see the VEIN beneath Conan's eye!

I miss Ferguson. I bought a rattlesnake mug that I use during lectures and not one student has understood the reference in the 3 years I've had the mug. Even the older non-traditional students.

The lighting in the box makes their stage makeup look like the mystery man from Lost Highway.

Recently I've been watching Colbert on Youtube on a nightly basis. He is so versatile. During his monologues, he often breaks into surrealistic, amazing and completely original song-and-dance routines. He must be working with a huge pool of talent.
