Sperm whales recently became a Special Interest of mine. they tend to overall be friendly with humans, scar isn't the only one that's know to approach divers or boats. It goes without saying that you should never approach wildlife. It's unprofessional, in my opinion, for the photographer to share stories of whale/human friendships like this, it will just give people the wrong idea.
