Pork chop shoes

Pork chop shoes results in a lawsuit in Australia. A man who slipped on a grease trail left by pork chop shoes in a pub is awarded £23,000. I guess Nike better think twice before they release their filet mignon basketball shoes. What would be their marketing campaign?

Double post. I can't find the link because Search is timing out for me. It was a few days ago, I think.

Search keeps on timing out for me so I skimmed the archives. I either passed right by it or perhaps Matt took it off. Dunno.

this article is much funnier

especially:

Lucock returned a short time later wearing a pair of pork chops, which he had won in a raffle earlier, tied to his feet.

As the pork chop shoes disintegrated the hotel floor became slippery and Bowron fell after playing pool.

ColdChef mentioned this story briefly here in a thread about news sources on the web. Close, but not quite a double post.
