Level 11: The Lick

I'd love to get a nylon string guitar, but I really don't want to deal with the fingernail care thing. (For one thing, it seems like it would screw with my bass playing, but honestly, it's just not for me in general). I know there is a minority school of classical guitar players who play without nails, so this is probably OK for my purposes (playing around the house, not concerned with like ideal tone production as a pro player might be). The kind of stuff he does here is so wonderful , and it would be fun to take a try at it.....

I've always known that I don't know how to play the guitar, but I never knew how much.

The fancy stuff at the end reminded me a bit of Ed Bickert.

I'm not normally one of those "sure he's got technique but where's the SOUL and/or taste", but honestly, he should've stopped at level 6, for the sake of the tune if not for demonstrating what one can do.

A palate cleanser.

Reminds me of Jacob Collier’s attempt to explain harmony in 5 levels of difficulty (with final level surprise).

His performance is great, but if you're going to have a video in which a guitar player shows "how to play" anything, at any level, you really need to show BOTH OF HIS FUCKING HANDS AT ALL TIMES.
