See, this is a big breakthrough in diagnostics. People much prefer minimally or non-invasive techniques, especially with regards to endoscopy. In the words of my doctor friend, Jeremy, "People typically don't like things shoved up their ass." The virtual colon is upon us.

This is really cool. Hopefully, they can get the price point down to where it's part of a routine checkup. Since you can't focus the attention on any particular area, it's only good for general diagnosis. "Yup, your villi look nice and pink. See you next year".

Unless they tied some string to it or something, so they could hold it at some particular point in the GI tract if they wanted to focus on that area.
