I keep trying to think of a plausible scenario in which the container rises up in wrath and wreaks terrible vengeance on its tormentors, and keep failing. Most distressing. I hope at least that the teams of engineers that come inspect it pet and praise it too.

So like 80% of this was banging on the sides like it was a drum where all the kinetic energy can be dispersed as sound, heat and a fairly elastic collision that difuses the energy slowly to the frame of the skip, which because it's empty, can just bounce away. Dropping a wrecked car with no motor in it is almost pointless as it is almost entirely deformable on impact, absorbing most of the energy.

Rolling it off a hill? Really?

You wanna wreck a skip, fill it half full of scrap and then accidentally back a truck into one of its corners. You'll have kind of a hard time loading it up after that.
