I learned to love you lucidly

The Spanish-Basque rock band Hesian's cover of Alaitz & Maider's song "Amets bat" ("A Dream"). The video includes a clip of Alaitz and Maider singing verse four of the song starting about 1:40. (previously)

Translation:
I had a dream
A dream made of honey
In the shelter of your arms
Love was there if we wanted.

I learned to dream lucidly
I learned to love you lucidly
Amidst thousands of sweet words.

As factory smoke ruined it
Land-water swallowed you.
As factory waste and smoke ruined it
Land-water swallowed you.

Once I had a dream
drifting off to sleep forever
wanting to be your dream
In the land-water’s humid dark.

A dream…

As factory smoke ruined it
Land-water swallowed you.
As factory waste and smoke ruined it
Land-water swallowed you.

A dream, a dream
A dream, in dreams.

A dream, in dreams...
"Land-water" is a literal translation of a Basque expression meaning "the world" or "the earth". It's a rhyming compound in Basque.

The original version by Alaitz & Maider (with fan-made text of the lyrics).

The audio over the closing credits is from the patriotic/nationalist song "Kalera, kalera": “Mom’s waiting, dad’s waiting...Come back to Basque country/ Come, come home.” By juxtaposing these songs and in some of the imagery they used, Hesian seemed to be trying to take this song in a political direction, asking something like ‘what does it mean to love your country lucidly?’ Though Alaitz & Maider’s song seems clearly be about love between two people...

I meant to say, too, my translation sticks pretty close to Iker's Spanish translation here, though not exactly

The beginning of verse three, which repeats, should be:
But while factory smoke was wilting it
The land-water swallowed it for you
...
Sorry for the mistakes.
