Following the concert's standing ovation, he spoke of his and Tanglewood's shared passion for nurturing young talent, asking the audience if they'd like to hear from a talented local singer-songwriter... and introduced "Jimmy Taylor."

I was there! The entire evening was utterly transporting and Taylor’s appearance was such an unexpected and delightful surprise.
