Comment on this Twitter post: I added Aerosmith ft. Run DMC to this video of the shadow of a millipede walking and it has amused me more than it should have done.

After that she tried on Lou Reed, the Proclaimers, Johnny Cash, Dire Straits.. and kept going. The Imperial March. Footloose. Warning: May improve your day.

I agree with the Twitter commenter re: ‘jaunty’ — both to describe said millipede’s demeanour as well as the unfortunate underuse of the word in general.

You could probably create a decent personality test based entirely on which of the song choices presented is the one that makes you most completely lose it. (For me, Imperial March did it. All that sinister pomp and circumstance for such teeny little legs.)

The Johnny Cash one angers me greatly, partly because the beat doesn't sync with the millipede's steps, but mostly because I've Been Everywhere is obviously the superior song for this.
