I don't want spoilers. I'll be playing the game when it goes live in 30 years.

I see their lowest difficultly starts at 4°C of warming and goes up to 6°C.

Once the giant naked mole rats catch up to you, you'll pray for dysentery.

Can you still start as a banker and just buy food along the way?

Yikes. I thought my Oregon Trail experience might help me here but I was dead by Chattanooga.

Playing on 6°C is definitely despair-inducing.

Rainwater collection seems common, food is the issue in my few tries. Buy as much at the start as you can, their ain't no food on the trail.

Small point of order, if Canada = good then why not cross the river at Detroit?

The choice of the final destination was mainly to keep the route on I75, also I once visited Sault Ste. Marie as a teen.

Hints? We got hints.

1. Save some seeds for Malcolm down the road.

2. You can ration harshly, but that will slow you down a bit and will stop healing.

3. Be kind to strangers. They may be able to help you.

4. Pond water is better than dying of thirst, but it's risky.

Good luck.
