Tetris crossed with Threes in a browser game that is beautifully frustrating.

It's a pretty good game if you feel like you haven't been swearing enough lately.

Sub in relationship for game and you've just summed up my last month or two.

This just makes me wish that Puzzlejuice would be ported to a browser version. Or Android. I have seriously considered buying a cheap old iPad just so I can play Puzzlejuice.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I can't figure out how to score a single line. I can get a space set to put a piece in, but moving that piece left or right immediately destroys that space and then I end up with an empty column on the left or right that I just can't fill.

The trick to that is abusing asymmetries in rotation. Line up a piece vertically, move it as far to the side as you can, and then slide it one away from the side. Now if you rotate that piece, parts of it will be over that empty column on the side. Mostly that means you can only get to the edges with a flat piece, but one of the Z's is an exception - it actually goes back over the edge when you flip it 180.

The other important part of information is that pieces of blocks fall once they're able to. You can use that to position flat blocks over a hole, clear part of the block, and let the remainder fall into the hole.

Worth it for the "Wotate, LAft, DownS, RiDth" control scheme.

I've never been happier that games are blocked by my work firewall but I will definitely be playing this later , so consider this an early swear

And now to properly bury the lede: The author's other games are found here. There are a lot of them, and a lot of ideas, and some are interesting.

I came here to say exactly this. It's brilliant, ought to be canonical.

I played that game for a while and now I'm paranoid about everything sliding around as I use my computer normally.
