Michael Clark Jr. is a rambunctious, gregarious 5-year-old who makes friends with almost everyone, which is why it's really no surprise that his entire kindergarten class came to his adoption ceremony on Thursday. (Brianna Sacks, BuzzFeed)

This was a very quick foster to adopt time-line.
I hope his birth parents were given the opportunity to work on reunification. I also hope this child wanted his class to come and is receiving support for his losses.

I can't tell from the article if "last August" means 2019 or 2018 - am assuming the latter since four months to adoption seems unlikely - but I can tell you "Wealthy Elementary School" made my eyes roll. Really, writers? Do better.
