Aw, very cute. It would be interesting to see the genetics -- are they descendent of only a handful of survivors that were able to transition to the wild, and that's why none got trapped, or were their ancestors just very trap-wary?

This is adorable and heartening! While it might be a sign of the times that we're reliant on something as slight as a harvest mouse to offer any lightening of the mood today, that's exactly what it did - thanks for sharing!
