"The Happy Broadcast was born as a way to deal with my social anxiety caused by the constant stream of negative news." Created by illustrator and master of whimsy Mauro Gatti, the project highlights one positive news story every week.

If you want to inoculate your social streams with Gatti's effort to "counter hate and fear culture," it can also be found on Instagram and Facebook.

Having spent the past few weeks agitating for full roll-out-the-guillotines revolution on the Australian Twitterosphere, this will be a nice break for Christmas. futurecrun.ch and Yes! Magazine are also quite uplifting.
