It's kind of adorable how once they decide, they really commit. Like, they try lots of toys a little bit, but once they have a solid hold on one, even if they go around and check out a bunch of other things, they don't really seem to change their minds. It's like 'this is it, this is the one I want.'

It's going to take a lot to convince me the idea that non-human animals have aesthetic preferences is just anthropomorphizing.

That was awesome. I loved the one who needed to check out every single toy carefully before choosing one. And the puppies!!! I hope they get extra toys for being so anti-materialistic.

Though the whole time I was watching I kept hoping one of them would take the chicken (the turkey)? It was objectively SO MUCH BETTER than the other toys. How did they not see that?

That reminds me that I need to get to the pet store and buy out the rest of their "little yellow smiley-face person" soft squeaker because they apparently discontinued it but it has been our dog's favorite toy to break the neck of for two pull-the-stuffing-outs so far.
