Thanks for posting this article. It's interesting to read the back and forth between Robinson and X, because the contemporary arguments are often obscured by history.

Is also reminded me of the Code Switch episode from last year about Robinson's relationship with the GOP and Nixon - The Original Blexit.

Just looped back to read this; I knew vaguely of the tension between them but had never explored any of the actual writings/speeches. Malcolm's voltaic language always puts a smile on my face so thanks for getting my day ended with full-on grinning. Even as someone who cherishes his pugnacity, however, I do appreciate the tone of the article's closing: let us who care to be freedom fighters also make sure to find spaces of compassionate collaboration where possible. Thank you for sharing!
