More cute animals than you can shake a log at.

A webcam setup at a log on a creek in rural PA picks up years worth of fuzzy creatures wandering across the log. The long anticipated sequel, The Log 2: Another Year has even more including a very inquisitive bobcat.
The owls are not what they seem.

Very cute! Bears are the doofuses of nature, and I love them.

Well, that's wonderful. I loved the beavers, being so sneaky underwater.
What were the long-tailed smallish critters? Not possums, not beavers, too small for fishers.

suelac: I saw a few muskrats in there; is that what you're referring to?

My only gripe is that it wasn't presented chronologically. Jumping between sessions was jarring to the point I started watching the date counter at the bottom.

There were also a few minks in the first video, if that's the one you were watching.

Muskrats, yeah, that's what they are.
I'm in California now, and (so far as I know) we don't have them here.
This was charming.

Given how many times we saw the bear's butt, I'm kinda wishing he'd put the camera on the other end of the log.

Bears are phylogenetically close to canids, I looked up once. So maybe they should be seen as big dogs trying to operate humanoid bodies.

Black Bear really should have gotten top billing in Log 2. They definitely had the most screen time. Raccoon, must have a good agent.

I'm also not used to seeing raccoons with a non-square aspect ratio. Our ones produce tummy-drag tracks in the snow.
