Weekend dance party x International Women's Day: once again (Wonderland Magazine, 2019) Boiler Room teamed up with Gurls Talk (an online community for young women to discuss issues; previously) for a celebratory party. This year, the DJs, selectors and musicians were Born N Bread*, Celeste, Flohio, Jamz Supernova*, Jess Ajose, and Shygirl. Rewind to last year, and check out Jordss, Jorja Smith*, Little Simz and Babeheaven joining Adwoa Aboah (Instagram) for a night curated by Jasmine Srih (Ig).

* Not all mixes from this year are online, as far as I could find, so I patched in other links. Born N Bread's link is a short clip, as I couldn't a full mix from them. Jamz Supernova's set is another Boiler Room mix from 2018, while Jorja Smith's link is an NPR Tiny Desk Concert from 2018.

A few more, longer mixes from Mixmag in years prior:
- The Black Madonna celebrating International Women's Day in The Lab NYC (2017)
- KLP International Women's Day set in The Lab SYD (2016)
- Gina Turner International Women's Day set in The Lab LA
- Discwoman Lab NYC Takeover : Umfang / Tygapaw / DJ Haram / Volvox
+ Tribes: DISCWOMAN (documentary)
- La Fleur International Women's Day Lab LDN special (2016)
- B.Traits International Women's Day set in The Lab LDN (2016)
+ Interview: B.Traits in The Lab LDN for International Women's Day

One final link: Celeste (Epiphany Waite) won the BRITS Rising Star award in Dec. 2019, as recapped by Planet Radio.
