This is my best work yet...

My favourite bit, which only appears in the Facebook post, as far as I can tell, is that after her parents finally notice the change, she still finishes the last senior portrait for the sister who hadn't been done yet, because the other sister wanted to be included.

In the Facebook version, there are also some close up side-by-side comparisons of the photos and art in the comments on some of the photos.

Did anyone else get the feeling that the dad still didn't see anything at first when the mom was laughing?

My nine year old had been putting googly eyes on one new item every day to see if my husband would notice. We got to 21 days before giving up and telling him.

We also managed to secretly bake a batch of chocolate chip cookies for him while he was in the kitchen or the next room through some clever misdirection and distractions.

We need to make our own mischief during the lockdown. Pranks that end in surprise cookies are the best pranks.

Kristen Vogler has the kindest parents in the world.

Pretending not to notice anything until it was all done would have been excruciating.

Pranks are too often mean but this just pure silly sweetness. What fun!

This is pretty great.

I had a coworker who loved putting googly eyes on things and she put some on my stapler. Took me a week to notice, and it was in my field of vision almost all day!

I hope she uses the chance now that the photos are temporarily out of their frames to scan them. And scan the crayon pictures once the originals are placed back, of course.

I've often wondered if this would work with the sign above a shop's door. If you did it really well - right font, proper workmanship, secret overnight visit etc - how long would it take for the shop's owner and staff to realise they now worked at Home Despot, Whale Foods or JC Penis?
