Micro woodworking breaks my brain. I have a hard enough time with macro woodworking. This is amazing.

Bookbinder Barbie is also pretty great, although she hasn't posted yet this year.

Do they have a full sized barbie or did that latticework get done at an insanely small scale? WTF!

Nope, nope, no way. The only way I can wrap my head around this is that Barbie is a 5'6" mannequin.

I want to know where those tiny handtools come from! Are they hand-made models, or does some mad genius sell these to...uh...woodshop puppeteers?

Aw! The Lee Valley Palm-sized tools are something but this is something ELSE.

What wood do they use to scale down the grain, do they say? Can you tell?

I don't think it is real grain. Probably something like bass wood that has had a faux grain applied to it.

It's Lost Arts Press week here huh? I'm all for it! This reminds me of Marco Terenzi's miniatures.

Here's a build of a 1:15 office chair, showing some techniques one might use on a project like this.
