A Mile an Hour

A different kind of marathon; running one lap an hour, for 24hrs, around my perfectly mile long block. The rest of the time I do as much as possible; making things, odd jobs, fixing stuff. It's about running, doing, and thinking. (SLYT)

I really loved this, but man did I ever get skittish watching this guy operating a circular saw at hour 23.

Not as skittish as watching him use an axe to cut a log he was standing on.
This is an interesting idea, but not one that I would pursue. Here's why: assuming I run my typical slow pace, it would take 12-13 minutes for a mile, leaving 48 minutes for a task. That kind of time interval drives me batshit insane. I need more time to really hyperfocus and being pulled out makes me resentful. 24 resentful hours.
