Why do dogs sneeze? There are many reasons, but the important thing is that it's funny as hell. Another example. The aquatic variant. Many more.

Why do dogs sneeze?

They're allergic to cats?

A: At you!

I've started fake sneezing at random dogs when I meet them on a walk (leashed, with their owners). So fun how many put their butts in the air, front legs on the ground and get a twinkle in their eyes waiting for a game to start.

You pet their tummy or put their harness on for a walk or they know your kid is accidentally on purpose gonna drop her hard boiled egg yolk. Mystery of science solved! Alert the Discovery Channel, summon u/adamsavage to sigh heavily as he knows my science is studied out!

I read teegeeack’s link a while ago and so now whenever my dog starts excited-sneezing at me I hype him up by saying “Who wants to go for a hunt!? Do you want to go for a hunt? Should we go for a hunt?!” and then we go outside and he pees and sniffs some things and he is not a very good hunter.

I came in to post teegeeack's link. After I was made aware of this, I began noticing that my dog actually sneezes both when he wants to go out and when he sees me taking on my outdoor shoes. It's nice to have this extra level of communication.
